luxorious, August 14, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: 1200 Thread Count KING Size 4pc Egyptian Bed Sheet Set, Deep Pocket, BLUE. i was a bit skeptical at first as to the quality, but these are exquisite, and for 1/3rd the price that you would be out of a catlog or store at the mall....if you are lucky enough to find them there. stitching on the ends in wonderful, no loose threads or anything, they have not stained the bed, would recomend these to other people.....and for what its worth, im looking for another set or 2 in black and red.

I bought a set of these recently and I did keep them and I am using them. I took previous comments into account before buying them. Overall, they do look nice and they are soft. As some have commented, they are thinner in feel and look than other lower thread count sheets. I'm not sure if this is normal for a higher count or not. But you will definately want something over the top of these when sleeping. They do not feel like 1000 count sheets in the stores which often have a silkier feel. I can't tell what the thread count is, but the general look is far different and finer looking that my old 500 thread counts I replaced, so I tend to believe the count is as advertised. Size is as advertised as well (standard King in this case). Now the material has a soft feel, somewhat cottony, and I think it feels good. It sort of reminds me of the feel of the flannel on the interior of a sleeping bag, just finer. I ran the sheets through an initial load of laundry and the color guard... Read more
