It's troubling to me when you buy a bag specifically designed to store a mattress and the bag is too short to properly seal at the open end. If I were to design a mattress bag, I would make one that is long enough to fit the standard length and then provide an additional 10 inches or so to allow the user to fold over and secure with tape. I might even go the extra mile and provide a zipper at the end. You shouldn't have to buy two bags to securely store one mattress. I looked all over the internet and a few local stores for quality mattress bags without any luck. These are the only ones I could find. I am a big believer in you get what you pay for and this experience is no different.

This is just a big yellow plastic bag made of not very heavy duty plastic. IT DOES NOT SEAL! You will have to find a way to seal the open end of the bag - or buy more to double bag it. That might be the intention.

I read the other reviews that said the bags were too short, so I bought two of them to store by Queen (American/US) size box spring. That was a good choice, because they didn't really come close to sealing without a LOT of duck tape (which stuck to the box spring where the bag didn't cover it). Needed two bags and a LOT of tape to secure it.
The bags are only 2 mil, which is very thin, but they also seem to have some weaknesses around the edges and seams. Both bags ripped just trying to wrangle them around the box spring.
These might be OK for short term storage or a quick move, but DO NOT use them for long-term storage or if there's even a chance of the bag rubbing up against something while moving.
ULINE, a big packaging manufacturer, makes some giant 4 mil mattress bags, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.
